The
steps of cocoa’s seedling:
A.
Process of raising seedlings
After the seeds arrive on the seedlings field, the first step
should we do is submerged on the water for 3 hours and also mixed it to soluble
the fungicide ( for the seed which is using fungicide ( white), and for the
removing shells or peels, we can raising seedlings directly.
The seedlings is set
on a sack who already soaked and dipped in fungicide liquid and after that,
watering the seedlings 3 times in day. The seeds who are growing up, it already
planted on polybag who already prepared.
B.
Seedlings
Before the seeds arrive on seedlings field, should the
polibag is already filled, arranged on a seedbed who have given the roof.
The size of polybag for the cocoa’s planting should be 20 X 30
cm. The soil and fertilizer 1 : 4 equal and also dolomite added.
In order to the seedbed roof could doing by flat roof. So it
can shelter all of polybag with 2 m tall or shelter the row of polybag. It
should be facing the east part, so it can get a shining in the morning with
roof height in frontside is about 150cm and backside is about 120cm.
The ingredients which is using for making a pole of the roof,
it can use a bamboo or woods. And for the roof is a coarse grass or tall grass,
coconut leaves and etc.

Plantings
In processing of planting, there are something that should we
take a look for :
1. Planting distance
The good or ideal
planting distance for cocoa is 2 X 4 with population 1.250 trees/ha or 3X3 for
1.100 trees.
2. Hole planting
The size of hole
for cocoa planting is 40 X 40 X 40cm and if we give a fertilizer 10kg/ hole and
dolomite 1kg/hole, it will be fasting the grow up.
3. Raining condition planting
Should choose the
good seed, strong and it is not a flush. In planting should be torning the
poybag and fill the soil. Dont let the soil is crush when take the polybag.
Planting in available hole and close it.
Planting with
real seed or good seed and supported with good treatment will give the good
result.
Hand polinations
is one of way for puring the seeds and developing the production maximally.
